Do you need a casual, family-friendly, relaxed restaurant for dinner? You should check out Applebee’s! Applebee’s is a very well-known national chain restaurant with a neighborhood sports bar theme. It features music from pop artists such as The Pussy Cat Dolls and Jordin Sparks. You can choose from two different types of seating at Applebee’s: diner booths and tables with chairs.
My usual order consists of only chicken fingers and French fries, but this time there was a special addition: a triple chocolate meltdown for desert. When my food arrived it was on a black platter with white paper. The honey mustard was sweet and tangy at the same time, I was very impressed with its flavor! I could tell that the fries were fried in oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. I was not particulary impressed with the chicken, but it was satisfying. My dessert was extremely sweet, but the scoop of vanilla ice-cream balanced it out nicely. The triple chocolate meltdown is a small bundt-style chocolate cake with smooth, creamy hot fudge in the center with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top. It was a warm-cool combination drizzled with luscious chocolate syrup.
Our waiter was very kind. He said he would try his best to please our every need. I was very flattered by that outstanding remark. However the server that brought our food to us was very impatient! He left without saying a word! There were two people in my party, and together we only spent $31.00 including gratuity! I enjoyed the food when I went and the service was moderate. I would rate this restaurant with three stars.
